Development of new materials will be given to artificial intelligence
At the end of September, according to the results of the competition commission, Southern Federal University won the lot #11 "New technologies for creating elements and systems of experimental stations for sources of synchrotron radiation and neutrons. This is an installation for express synthesis of new materials, controlled by artificial intelligence. The proposed mechanism involves people only at the stage of programming the artificial intelligence - then it learns on its own and performs the work automatically, according to algorithms. A human works 40 hours a week, while this machine works 24 hours a day, that is 168 hours a week. This increases the efficiency and speed of work and avoids errors caused by human error.
